Day 16 - A View Of One Tree Mountain

It was a thoroughly miserable day as I set off in the rain. Dark, gloomy, wet and full of ominous noises.
It was not bright enough to kill the creatures that had appeared over the course of the night, so they were still about and hunting me down. A skeleton took a couple of shots at me, and then I looked up to spot a zombie descending fast towards my sword.
Once they were both dealt with, I set off along the coast. The landscape soon turned swampy.
The rain continued to fall and as I approached a desert area that I had been to many days ago it started to exhibit the strange behaviour I had previously seen where the rain was only visible in certain areas and not in others, although the invisible stuff continued to splash in the water. I walked along the river which passed by the original village I had found and spent the night in.
As I curved away from the parts I had already seen, I spotted a huge mountain in the distance over the trees, a mountain with a single tree on top of it. I decided to name it "One Tree Mountain", just to be original.
I passed a massive pit with waterfalls, lava-falls and assorted wildlife populating it.
As I came closer to One Tree Mountain I wondered if I would get to visit it today. It didn't seem likely as the shoreline curved away.
Finally the rain stopped and everything brightened up. I passed a very square hill in the desert.
As the sun began to set and I dug out a hollow in the sand for my overnight stay, I took one last look back at One Tree Mountain.
Then I threw down a bed and slept.
